Similarly, it has been shown that HIIT could significantly reduce the abdominal and epididymal fat mass in Zucker rats (a genetic model of obesity) and HFD-fed SD rats, when compared to MICT (Kapravelou et al, 2015;Shen et al, 2015;Maillard et al, 2019).
