An optical frequency comb line spacing control system based on temporal and spectral Talbot effects is demonstrated. The spectral line spacing is respectively increased to 2, 3, 4, and 5 times of the original.

An optical pulse generator based on an optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) using a phase-modulator is demonstrated. Optical pulses with a full width at half maximum of 7.34 ps at 10 GHz repetition rate are generated.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
