“…[6] When T oc becomes 1% and 3%, the lasing threshold increases to 2.63 and 3.89 W. And the maximum output power improves to 1.68 and 3.95 W, corresponding to a high slope efficiency of 34.1% and 52.4%, respectively. This slope efficiency at fluorescence sidebands even surpasses some non-vibronic Nd 3þ -doped laser at 1123 nm, [20,21] indicating the great potential of vibronic lasers despite its low-gain emission. Figure 2c displays the laser spectrum under various output couplers.…”

“…Zang [5] et al developed a single frequency 1.25 W 1123 nm laser for stable coherent light sources study. S.S. Zhang et al [6,7] demonstrated diode-end-pumped continuous wave (CW) 1123 nm lasers both for ceramic Nd:YAG and composite Nd:YAG, the output power was 10.8 W and 9.3 W, respectively. Till now, there is no report on the output power of over 100 W for the CW operation of diode-pumped 1123 nm laser.…”

“…It is easy for side pumped Nd:YAG to achieve high power 1064 nm laser, but the o o efficiency in TEM 00 mode operation is relatively low, typically between 10% and 15% [8][9][10][11][12]. In comparison, end pumping can reach higher o o efficiency in TEM 00 mode oper ation.…”
