Histopathological Changes of Biopsied Myocardium in Shoshin Beriberi

Abstract: SUMMARYCardiovascular beriberi is caused by thiamine deficiency and usually arises for one of two reasons: alcoholism or diet. Shoshin beriberi is a fulminant form of cardiac beriberi.
