“…Such editorial decisions were not popular; however, if we analyze the progress of the journal in the past three years, it is evident that the progress is huge, primarily because of inclusion in the "Scopus" database, but also because of the signifi cant number of citations, both in the "Google Scholar" database and in the "Web of Science" "(while "Scopus" has not yet done an analysis, and it is expected very soon). The purpose of this study is to analyses the personal scientifi c production of Montenegrin sports sciences researchers, as well as trend of publication within Montenegrin sports sciences journals. This investigation subject included the studies published in the period from 2002 to 2017 that have been focused on the sports sciences issues. The electronic databases (Google Scholar, Scopus and Web of Science) were searched for research articles available until 6 September 2018. Then research fi ndings were summarized in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines and the number of citation, h-index, i10-index as well as number of documents by authors were presented respectively. Results of this study indicated that the sports sciences researchers rapidly increased the number of publications from 2002 to 2017 and switch the writing language from Montenegrin to English, especially in last fi ve years. The number of citations span from 100 and 2800 within most of researchers, while h-index and i10-index span from 4 to 30 in most cases in Google Scholar database, while the same researchers were cited quite lesser in Scopus and Web of Science databases. On the other hand, in Google Scholar database, there are three registered Montenegrin journals: Sport Mont journal (over 1000 articles published since 2002) is the most cited one with highest h-index (16), Montenegrin Journal of Sports Science and Medicine (over 80 articles) is the best ranked Montenegrin journal, while Journal of Anthropology of Sport and Physical Education (over 40 articles) was established in 2017 and the relevant analyses could not be possible to be completed, while the analyses in Scopus and Web of Science were conducted for the Montenegrin Journal of Sports Science and it was reached quite lower score too. It was indicated the highest impact was recognized in the last years, regarding to citations of available articles published by Montenegrin authors, as well as writing style of articles published in English. Hence, the further deployment is expected in upcoming period.

A B S T R A C T Sport Mont is a scientific journal that exists for UvodSport Mont Journal je osnovan 2003. godine i ima prilično dugu tradiciju. Do danas je objavljeno blizu 1000 naučnih radova istraživanja sa svih kontinenata. To su uglavnom radovi predstavljeni na naučnim konferencijama Crnogorske sportske akademije, koji se tradicionalno održavaju svake godine krajem marta ili početkom aprila. U 2016. godini, sajt časopisa je redizajniran i napravljena je prekretnica, iz koje će časopis nastaviti da raste i razvija se brže. Naime, uputstva za autore, dizajn i struktura su reformisani i objavljivanje časopisa je tri puta godišnje (u februaru, junu i oktobru) sa po 10 radova. Urednički odbor je ojačan, što će se dešavati i ubuduće. Danas je Sport Mont Journal indeksiran u dvadeset dvije međunarodne baze podataka, i mora se naglasiti da u ovom trenutku prolazi kroz proces procjene u Scopusu i Web of Science bazi podataka. Матеріали та методи. Під час написання статті було застосовано такі наукові методи: контент-аналіз -ми Science and Education a New Dimension. Жіночий спорт зародився ще в античні часи. Згадки про нього були спочатку в записах науковців та мандрівників, згодом -у пресі. У порівнянні з минулим століттям, кількість жінок, які займаються спортом, зросла, отже мала б зрости кількість матеріалів про жіночий спорт. Зараз у суспільстві відбувається конфлікт за гендерну рівність в усіх галузях, в тому числі і у спорті та у його висвітленні у ЗМІ. Проблема гендерної нерівності у спорті та його висвітленні безпосередньо стосується і України, де є багато талановитих спортсменок, які потребують належної уваги медіа. Ми погоджуємося зі словами Віолети Шиляк, у яких вона пояснює значущість ЗМІ у формуванні суспільної думки про спорт: «Медіа є найсильнішими посередниками між спортом та сучасним суспільством. ЗМІ, особливо телебачення, грають зараз важливу роль у формуванні аудиторії. Вплив висвітлення медіа реальності є дуже великим у створенні зв'язку між спортом і вболівальниками» [12].Короткий огляд публікацій по темі. Теоретичною базою є науковий доробок українських та зарубіжних вчених, що вийшов друком протягом останніх десятиліть. Особливу увагу ми приділили працям тих науковців, які дослідили останні тенденції та зміни у сфері друкованих ЗМІ. Над висвітленням теми жіночого спорту у ЗМІ працювали такі науковці, як Тоні Брюс, Ейлі Ламуро, Віолета Шиляк, Анатолій Шульга та інші.Мета. Дослідити матеріали про жіночий спорт минулих століть і з'ясувати кількісний та якісний аспект висвітлення теми жіночого спорту, виокремити проблеми висвітлення жіночого спорту в медіа.
