Historical Research on the Promotion of Women's Physical Education in Prewar Japan: With a Focus on the Taisho Era*

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to clarify how women's physical education was promoted in Japan, particularly around the Taisho era (1912)(1913)(1914)(1915)(1916)(1917)(1918)(1919)(1920)(1921)(1922)(1923)(1924)(1925)(1926).
