Electrodeposition is commonly used to deposit ceramic or metal coating on metallic implants. Its utilization in depositing polymer microcapsule coating is currently being explored. However, there is no encapsulation of drug within polymer microcapsules that will enhance its chemical and biological properties. Therefore, in this study, ginseng which is known for its multiple therapeutic effects was encapsulated inside biodegradable poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) microcapsules to be coated on pre-treated medical grade stainless steel 316L (SS316L) using an electrodeposition technique. Polyaniline (PANI) was incorporated within the microcapsules to drive the formation of microcapsule coating. The electrodeposition was performed at different current densities (1-3 mA) and different deposition times (20-60 s). The chemical composition, morphology and wettability of the microcapsule coatings were characterized through attenuated total reflectance-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and contact angle analyses. The changes of electrolyte colors, before and after the electrodeposition were also observed. The addition of PANI has formed low wettability and uniform microcapsule coatings at 2 mA current density and 40 s deposition time. Reduction in the current density or deposition time caused less attachment of microcapsule coatings with high wettability records. While prolonging either one parameter has led to debris formation and melted microcapsules with non-uniform wettability measurements. The color of electrolytes was also changed from milky white to dark yellow when the current density and deposition time increased. The application of tolerable current density and deposition time is crucial to obtain a uniform microcapsule coating, projecting a controlled release of encapsulated drug.

emission nature, the hydrogen is receiving significant attentions as a renewable energy alternative. [2,3] The electrocatalytic water splitting, consisted of the half-reaction of hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER), is an appealing approach for the generation of ultra-fine hydrogen with the zero-carbon emission nature and recyclability as compared with the other hydrogen generation approaches of gasification, gas reforming, renewable liquid reforming, etc. [4] To date, the Pt/Pd and IrO 2 /RuO 2 set the benchmark electrocatalysts for the HER and OER with the low overpotentials due to their excellent water-splitting capabilities. Nevertheless, their high costs make the large-scale implementation of hydrogen generation pricier and thus the development of highly efficient and stable electrocatalysts at affordable costs still remains to be one of the major challenges for the comprehensive application of green hydrogen production by the electrochemical water splitting (WS). The transition metal-based electrocatalysts with the d-orbital characteristics, i.e., Co, Ni, Cu, Fe, Mo, W, Mn, Cr, etc., have been widely explored as the electrolytic electrode alternatives with the superb HER and OER reaction capabilities and abundance on the earth crust. [5][6][7][8] The transition metals have been frequently compounded with the nonmetallic phosphide, sulfide, nitride, etc., and significant advances have been made along with the outstanding WS performances due to their superb intrinsic HER/OER reaction capabilities. [9][10][11][12] Meantime, the Co and Mn have demonstrated outstanding electron transportability and absorption of hydrogen protons and hydroxyl species. [9][10][11][12] For instance, the CoNi-MOF exhibited a low overpotential due the rapid electron transfer rate facilitated by the adequate Co incorporation. [9] The Mn-doped Ni 2 P microflowers demonstrated a low cell voltage due to the improved conductivity and increased electrochemical active sites by the incorporation of Mn. [10] The combination of Co and Mn with the nonmetallic elements of methylidyne and selenide groups such as CoMnCH and CoMnSe has demonstrated improved intrinsic characteristics for the WS. [11,12] More recently, the boron (B) is being considered as another useful nonmetallic element for The development of highly efficient and stable electrocatalysts at an affordable cost is an essential component for the large-scale implementation of green hydrogen production. In this work, the fabrication of porous CoMnB electrocatalyst is demonstrated with the incorporation of boron into the Co-Mn matrix by an electrochemical approach for bifunctional water electrocatalysis for the first time. The optimized CoMnB electrocatalyst demonstrates an excellent bifunctionality with a low 2-E turnover voltage of 1.59 V at 20 mA cm −2 in 1 m KOH. Seamlessly integrating biosensors into clothing for personalized stress level monitoring, specifically targeting cortisol, a stress‐related compound found in sweat, shows great potential for efficiently monitoring and managing individual mental and physical well‐being. Nevertheless, realizing the fabric biosensor faces a notable challenge, as it involves the persistent obstacle of ensuring reusability and washability. Here, a fabric sensing system constructed by a fiber electrode for rapid and reliable cortisol detection with high repeatability, breathability, and stability is reported. The fibers are assembled from aligned carbon nanotubes and functionalized with a molecularly imprinted polymer containing redox‐active nanoreporters. Through washing with ethanol, the fabricated fabric sensor exhibits high reusability for over 100 cycles detecting cortisol. The key is the large active surface area and elaborately designed channel distance in the fiber electrode, ensuring a stable interface between the polymer and the fiber electrode. The resulting fabric sensing system presents convenient monitoring of cortisol levels, allowing assessment of stress levels to understand emotions and health condition better.
