“…One option is to use hetropolyacids as strong Brønsted acid catalysts for catalytic esterification and transesterification reactions to produce biodiesel with high conversions (Talebian-Kiakalaieh et al, 2013;Sun et al, 2015;Xie and Wan, 2019a). Unfortunately, hetropolyacids have certain disadvantages, such as good solubility in polar media and a low surface area (Parida and Mallick, 2007;Ekinci and Oktar, 2019).…”

“…We guessed that the diffraction peaks of CoK 4 [P 2 W 18 O 62 ] in {P 2 W 18 }@Co-BTC should mask some peaks of Co-BTC ( Figure S1b ). In addition, {P 2 W 18 }@Co-BTC produced new diffraction peaks at 13.22°, 20.48°, 20.84°, 21.64°, 36.24° and 51.06° (in Figure 1 c,d), determining that CoK 4 [P 2 W 18 O 62 ] cooperated with Co-BTC to form the target synthesis product [ 44 ]. New phases also exist in {P 2 W 18 }@Co-BTC-1-3 (♦ in Figure S1b ), confirming that {P 2 W 18 }@Co-BTC-1-3 are all synthesized as new nanomaterials.…”

“…This structure could afford high local reactant concentrations near the catalysts, helping to overcome the limited solubility of hydrophobic substrates in polar media. Several examples were recently studied using a micellar catalyst in the transformation of biomass in valuable building blocks [21][22][23][24][25][26].…”
