How To Manage Downsizing More Effectively?

Abstract: This study aims to depict a broad view of downsizing and donate a more extensive role to outplacement in preserving employment and benefits of survivors as well as dismissed employees. It has been stressed that downsizing is not only a way to reduce costs, but rather a strategy or part of a strategy that aims ensuring competitive advantage. Views of several authors and academicians have also been cited to give different perspectives to the concept of downsizing and outplacement market's development.
