There are still many students who get scores below the average. It is because students have difficulty in learning. This study examines the effect of problem-based learning models with scaffolding techniques, the effect of independent learning on student learning outcomes, and the level of differences in learning outcomes between students who apply problem-based learning models and problem-based learning models with scaffolding techniques rather than conventional learning models. This study uses a quantitative research type with a quasi-experimental design with a 3 x 3 factorial design, using a Nonequevalent control group design (pretest-posttest). The sample in this study amounted to 77 students. The study was conducted using quantitative data obtained from questionnaires and surveys. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The techniques used to analyze the data are qualitative descriptive analysis, quantitative, and inferential statistics. The study results are significant differences between the Problem Based Learning learning model with the Scaffolding technique with the conventional learning model of student independence in learning, and student learning outcomes are dominant in the application of problem-based learning. It can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning model with the Scaffolding technique obtains the best learning outcomes when compared to other learning models.

Students experience very high anxiety, so it impacts the difficulty of digesting and understanding mathematics learning materials. It causes low Mathematics learning outcomes. This study analyzes the effect of anxiety and emotional intelligence on fifth-grade elementary school students' mathematics learning outcomes. This study was an "ex post facto" study with a population of 238 students. The sample was determined using a proportional random sampling technique to obtain a total sample of 142 students. The techniques used to collect data were observation, interviews, questionnaires, document recording, and tests. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Hypothesis testing was carried out using simple regression analysis techniques and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: There is an influence of anxiety on mathematics learning outcomes with a contribution of 3.5%; There is an influence of emotional intelligence on mathematics learning outcomes with a contribution of 6.6%; There is an influence of anxiety and emotional intelligence on mathematics learning outcomes with a contribution of 7.2%. So the conclusion of the research shows a significant influence between anxiety and emotional intelligence on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students.

Mathematics is often said by most students is a difficult subject and many students do not like mathematics, so that students' mathematics learning outcomes vary. One of the psychological factors that exist in a person is self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to test whether students' self-confidence has a relationship with learning outcomes in fourth grade in mathematics. This study uses a type of quantitative research that is correlational to draw conclusions. The sample in this study amounted to 30 people from class IV. Collecting data using a questionnaire about the level of self-confidence of the participants used as an instrument in this study. Meanwhile, students' mathematics learning outcomes are determined based on their semester scores. The data analysis method used the product moment test with the help of SPSS 16. The research findings showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between self-confidence and students' mathematics learning outcomes. With a moderate correlation of 0.662, it can be said that students' mathematics learning outcomes will be lower if students' self-confidence levels are lower, and vice versa if students' self-confidence is high, their mathematics learning outcomes will be higher. The implication of this research is that teachers can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes from one of the internal factors, namely students' self-confidence.
