“…In this direction and the field of congestion control in VANETs and IoV networks, researchers have improved the main challenges of resource management, which are bandwidth and storage, by using factors such as a better average PDR 18,26,35 , better accuracy 21,38 , increasing transmission performance 22,28,31 , improving arrival time 23,36 , enhancing throughput 25,35 , decreasing the E2E delay 23,27 , and minimizing packet loss 31 . According to the articles that we have considered in the resource management section to check their innovation in the direction of congestion control in VANETs and IoV networks, it can be said that the common innovation between them is providing approaches such as transfer messages over channel approaches 19,23,32 and channel congestion control system 18,29,32 in single link and multiple links, controlling transmission power and hybrid traffic control strategy that has greatly helped to reduce congestion in VANET and IoV networks. But there are still limitations such as less flexibility 21,29 and a lack of investigation of network cost 31,35 in this category, which needs more research.…”
