Hydration performance and cycling stability of threeTCM:MgSO4,ZnSO4andFeSO4

Abstract: Summary Thermochemical heat storage materials offer high‐energy storage densities and clean means of long‐term solar energy storage. The aim of the study is to assess the potential heat storage efficiency of salt hydrates, based on sufficient hydration/dehydration performance, water sorption and cyclicability. MgSO4 7H2O, ZnSO4 7H2O and FeSO4 7H2O were evaluated based on preselected criteria. The main highlights of the dehydration result show that higher enthalpy was obtained for MgSO4 and ZnSO4, shows 2256 an… Show more

“…2.1 | Morphology and structure of DQdoped CN X-ray diffraction (XRD) of samples show two separate peaks of diffraction as shown in Figure 2A. 45,46 The main dominant peak at 27.6 represents the interlayer stacking of 2D-conjugated aromatic segments, while the small peak at 12.9 is attributable to tri-s-triazine units' inplane structural repeating motifs. The Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) spectra show that the typical stretching, adsorbed O-H molecules, and breathing modes of the s-triazine heterocyclic ring (C 6 N 7 ) are attributed to several peaks located at 1225-1580, 2950-3625, and 795/cm (Figure 2B).…”

“…It is clear from XRD and FTIR that evident bulk changes in the core crystal structure and core chemical skeleton integrity of the CN framework do not occur after copolymerization. 23,29,46 The Brunauer-Emmett-Teller of pure CN surface area is 81.3 m 2 /g, and this surface area shows a substantial increase by the incorporation of DQ monomer into CN, that is, 209.1 m 2 /g for CN-DQ 5.0 (Figure 3A). Figure 3B refers to the pore-size distributions Barrett, Joyner, and Halenda (BJH) curve and increases depending on the amount of DQ monomer within CN.…”

“…Due to the low quantum proficiency of solar energy production by photocatalysts limited photocatalysis in practical applications. [99,[140][141][142][143][144] The quick dispersion of photoinduced electron-hole pairs is the fundamental cause of low efficiency in photocatalytic reactions. The formation of a semiconductor heterostructure by integrating two distinctive photocatalyst with adequate VB and CB probabilities is recognised as among the most successful methods for boosting charge transport and isolation, while accounting for interior charge reduction and incorporation among two heterojunctions.…”

“…Among them, dyes and metal ions are considered to be the major sources of wastewater pollution. [20,[24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32] The emerging class of environmental pollutants has been characterized by the presence of a wide variety of pharmaceutical residues and the chemical toxins owing to their potential toxic and carcinogenic impact on human life. [33][34][35][36][37] Therefore, finding ease in operate, safe, environmentally friendly, costeffective remediation strategies in order to sensing and removing such kind of contaminants has become a focus of prime importance.…”
