“…This study showed that hypnotherapy may increase prolactin levels in patients who have undergone cesarean section, compared to those not receiving hypnotherapy. This is consistent with a study by Anuhgera et al, (9) which states that hypnotherapy is more effective than acupressure in stimulating the production of the hormone prolactin and the production of breast milk in women who give birth by cesarean section. Based on research conducted by Findik et al, (13) post-cesarean pain and anxiety adversely affect milk production.…”

(10) One study reported that the combination of hypnotherapy and acupressure reduced anxiety and pain levels significantly in post-cesarean mothers, thereby implying increased breast milk production.…”

“…The results of this study are in accordance with the research conducted by Darmasari, et al who stated that the provision of BOM and Breast care methods was able to increase the production and smoothness of breast milk [15]. Breast milk production is also affected by acupuncture massage [22]and the combination of music therapy and oxytocin massage [23]. The results of this study are different from Titisari's (2016) research which states that breast milk production is not affected by breast care [24].The results of this study are also in accordance with Nova Ningsih's research (2019), which reported that there was an increase in the amount of breast milk production before and after Breast Care Combination, oxytocin massage and Marmet Technique were carried out.…”
