ACORN : APL to C on real numbers

Abstract: Otarles Brenner 2300 Grand CanalA prototype APL to C compiler (5fe~: APL to C On Real Numbers) was produced while investigating improved tools for solving numerically intensive problems on supercomputers. ~currently produces code which runs slower than hand-coded Cray FORTRAN. but we have identified the major perfonnance bottlenecks, and believe we lcnow how to remove them.
