Xuyên tâm liên (Andrographis paniculata) là cây có nhiều công dụng và là nguồn dược liệu tốt. Mối tương tác giữa hệ vi sinh vật và A. paniculata ở các mức độ khác nhau đã được khảo sát. Ba địa điểm nghiên cứu được chọn để phân tích đất, phân lập vi khuẩn, thu mẫu cây để xác định cấu trúc mô và vị trí cư trú của vi sinh vật. Kết quả cho thấy A. paniculata có khả năng thích nghi với nhiều loại đất. Năm mươi lăm dòng vi khuẩn đã được tìm thấy, trong đó số lượng vi khuẩn phân lập đất vùng rễ là cao nhất 18 dòng. Tại địa điểm đất có hàm lượng chất hữu cơ cao nhất (12,8 %) phân lập được nhiều vi khuẩn nhất (8 dòng) ngược lại tại nơi có hàm lượng chất hữu cơ thấp nhất (1,41 %) số lượng vi sinh vật phân lập được ít nhất (4 dòng). Các bộ phận trong cây đều phân lập được các vi sinh vật với số lượng khác nhau. Các mô với tế bào có vách bằng cellulose, nhiều chất dự trữ đều có vi sinh vật cộng sinh.

IntrodutionFungal endophytes are widespread and dwell inside plant cells for at least part of their life without producing any symptoms of infection. Distinct host plants may have different fungal endophyte rates and community compositions. Despite this, the endophytic fungi connected with the host plant and their hostile behaviors, remain unknown.MethodsThe objective of the current research was to isolate and identify endophytic fungal species from the root of Andrographis paniculata. The effects of fungal isolate APR5 on the mycelial growth of phytopathogens and the production of plant-promoting traits were assessed. Results and discussionEndophytic fungal isolate APR5 showed higher inhibitory efficacy in dual and double plate assay against the tested phytopathogenic fungi. The scanning electron microscope analysis demonstrated that the phytopathogenic fungal hyphae were coiled by endophytes which makes them shrink and disintegrate. Further, an ethyl acetate crude extract effectively suppressed the mycelium growth of Rhizoctonia solani by 75 ± 0.1% in an agar well diffusion assay. The fungal isolate APR5 was identified as Lasiodiplodia pseudotheobromae using the nuclear ribosomal DNA internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region and qualitatively evaluated for their capacity to produce plant growth-promoting hormones. Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was implemented to acquire a preliminary understanding of the secondary metabolic profile of ethyl acetate crude extract. 1-octadecene, erythritol, niacin, oleic acid, phenol, pantolactone, phenyl ethyl alcohol, p-cresol, and tbutyl hydroquinone are the metabolites analyzed in a crude extract of APR5 isolate and are reported to have antimicrobial properties.

This study is aimed at knowing the protective role of aqueous extract of Andrographis paniculata on the toxic effects induced by butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) in domestic male rabbits. The study was conducted in College of Education for Pure Sciences / Univ. of Karbala from November 2021 until February 2022. Forty adult male rabbits have been used, which were divided randomly into four equal groups (10animals/group), the first group(G1) was administered with 1ml/kg of corn oil and considered to be the control group. The second group (G2) administrated 1mg/kg of the BHT, the third group (G3) had administrated 100mg/kg of A. paniculata, whereas animals of 4th group (G4) administrated 1mg/kg of the BHT and 100mg/kg of A. paniculata extract orally for a month daily. Fasting Blood samples were collected after the end of the experimentation for the purpose of studying the concentration of the following parameters: Albumin, Urea, Uric acid, superoxide dismutase (SOD), Reduced Glutathione (GSH) and Malondialdehyde (MDA). The results showed that oral administration of BHT caused a significant increase (P<0.01) in concentrations of Urea, Uric acid, and MDA, while there was a significant reduction (P<0.01) in concentration of Albumin and GSH in comparison with the control group.
