Dryopteris crassirhizomaDryocrassinABBAfor Postharvest Control of the Potato Dry Rot PathogenFusarium solanivar. coeruleum

Abstract: Dryopteris crassirhizoma dryocrassin ABBA treatment was tested for its effectiveness in controlling Fusarium solani var. coeruleum growth in vitro and for prevention of postharvest dry rot of potato tubers and slices. Dryocrassin ABBA strongly inhibited mycelial growth, resulting in reductions in both mycelium dry weight and per cent spore germination of F. solani var. coeruleum at concentrations of 2.0, 0.5 and 0.1 mg/ml. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observations showed that treatment induced abnormal, … Show more

“…Phomopsis sp, Botryosphaeria dothidea, Alternaria alternata and Pestalotiopsis micropora were the main pathogens of kiwifruit in Shanxi, Sichuan and Hunan (Li et al, 2017), Colletotrichum asianum, C. fucticola and C. siamense were the pathogens of mango leaf anthracnose in Guangxi (Mo et al, 2018). Bacillus, Pedtobacterium, Alternaria alternata and Fusarium isolated in this experiment were postharvest pathogens of pepper, Alternaria alternata was the pathogen of pomegranate, grape, citrus and other fruits and vegetables (Katoh et al, 2006;Tziros et al, 2008), and Fusarium was a soil-borne disease It often appeared in Medicago truncatula (Ramírez-Suero et al, 2010), potato, tomato (Wang et al, 2017) and onion (Someya et al, 2000). Bacillus was isolated in ginger (Peng et al, 2013), pepper and tomato.…”
