IL-1RA VNTR and IL-1α 4845G>T polymorphisms and risk of idiopathic male infertility in Iranian men: A case-control study and an in silico analysis

Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the association of IL-1RA VNTR and IL-1α 4845G>T polymorphisms with idiopathic male infertility followed by an in silico analysis. In a case-control study, we collected blood samples from 230 infertile and 230 healthy men. Evaluation of the impacts of genetic variations by biological experiments is a very difficult process and evaluation of these impacts could be much easier with the in silico tools (Tameh et al, 2018;Zamani-Badi et al, 2018).
