“…N2-H1N2Á Á ÁO1 and C17-H17Á Á ÁO2, forming a five-and six-membered ring, respectively. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular N2-H1N2Á Á ÁO1W, C13-H13Á Á ÁO1W and O1W-H1W1Á Á ÁN1 hydrogen bonds (Table 2 and Experimental 2-Chloro-N-phenylacetamide was prepared by the reaction of phenylamine and chloroacetyl chloride in the presence of triethylamine, according to the literature method of Wen et al (2004). To a solution of 8-hydroxyquinoline (1.45 g, 10 mmol) in acetone (40 ml) were added 2-chloro-N-phenylacetamide (1.69 g, 10 mmol), K 2 CO 3 (1.52 g, 11 mmol) and KI (0.5 g), and the resulting mixture was stirred at 333 K for 5 h. After cooling to room temperature, the mixture was washed three times with water and then filtered.…”

“…We have previously reported the structure of an amide-type acyclic polyether with 1,3-dihydroxybenzene as the backbone (Wen et al, 2004). In our ongoing studies of polyamide-type compounds, the title compound, (I), has been synthesized.…”

“…DHA appear in numerous peptides of microbial origin and are thought to be biological intermediates in the synthesis of important biologically active compounds such as penicillin. [1][2][3][4][5][6] Several approaches to the synthesis of DHA have been developed. 7 However, the synthesis using hippuric acid as substrate has seldom reported.…”
