Identical energy bands of uranium isotopes in the interacting boson model

Abstract: The energy spectra and B(E2) values of the uranium isotopes U are calculated in the interacting-boson-plus-fermion-pair model. It was found that in order to reproduce the identical energy bands, weak boson pairing, a weak angular momentum interaction and a strong quadrupole interaction are needed.PACS number(s): 21.60.
