Abstract:The inverse problem for the non-stationary radiative transfer equation is considered, which consists in finding the attenuation coefficient according to the pulsed multi-energy X-ray exposure. For a short duration of the probing pulse, the asymptotic solution of the inverse problem is found. The problem of identifying an unknown substance by attenuation coefficients approximately found on a finite set of energy values is formulated. Algorithms for solving identification problems are proposed. The results of th… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
