Abstract:Introduction: Candida colliculosa is a yeast of food origin classified as Non-Albicans Candida (NAC), with its pathogenic potential confirmed, but little known. Like other opportunistic infections, diseases caused by NAC species are most commonly found in immunosuppressed patients.
