Illuminating the Complexity of Oral Reading Fluency: A Multiple Lens Approach

Abstract: Oral reading fluency is recognized as an important variable associated with the assessment of reading proficiency. Frequently, fluency assessments distill a child’s overall reading fluency to a single numerical score.
