Abstract:Squamous cell carcinoma of larynx is one of the most common malignant neoplasms of the head and neck. Carcinoma of the larynx represents 2.2% of all cancers in men and 0.4% in women, with predilection of old aged men of more than 50 years rather than women. Smoking is the main risk factor.
