Impact of DC link brake chopper design on the LVRT behavior of full-scale converter wind turbines

Abstract: Wind turbines (WTs) are loaded by the wind and by the electrical grid. A low voltage ride through (LVRT) is a special load case for WTs, which can be critical for their drivetrain.
