Abstract: IntroductionSarcopenia, a age-related disease characterized by loss of muscle mass accompanied by loss of function, is associated with nutrition imbalance, physical inactivity, insulin resistance, inflammation, metabolic syndrome, and atherosclerosis which are risk factors for cardiovascular disease.
