Abstract:A feasibility region of a power system is defined by all operating points that can be reached by continuous variation of parameters without causing system's instability. The boundary of this region is composed by bifurcation surfaces. When surfaces associated to Hopf bifurcations intersect each other, emerges a 2degenerated Hopf point producing the appearance of a unstable hole inside the feasibility region that was supposed continuously stable. This paper study the effect of using a Flexible AC Transmission S… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
