The low level of direct interaction between teachers and students due to the restrictions and distance that must be observed forces students to learn independently. However, not all students have online skills. Therefore, teachers must develop competence by presenting the right model and by government policy, both online and offline. This learning model is blended learning. Teachers have no other choice but to carry out good blended learning management so that learning activities can continue. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of blended learning management and online skills on students' learning independence. The method in this research is quantitative with an export facto type of research, namely comparative causal research. The data collection technique is by distributing instruments in the form of questionnaires to each teacher respondent by first creating a Google from link. The population in the study were all teachers in one district with a research sample of 90 people from 4 schools spread across one district. Data analysis techniques are correlation and regression. The research results show that blended learning management and online skills have an impact on student learning independence. The impact of the blended learning model and students' online skills is 52.10%. The conclusion is that to increase student learning independence, teachers must carry out the learning process using the blended learning model optimally. The research implies that teachers have implemented the blended learning model by training students who have difficulty online.

The Covid-19 pandemic is a disaster for all of us, Vocational Education is also affected by the Covid-19 pandemic which forces online lectures, one of which is at the Industrial Chemical Technology Polytechnic (PTKI), in the implementation of the exam at PTKI Medan carried out collectively with questions exam in the form of an essay. There have been many studies on online essay exams but the scope of the discussion is for automatic correction or similarity based on text input. In vocational education, especially PTKI Medan, which has a test that is not limited to text input but there are calculations. Another weakness of text input is that the answers can be more easily copied and pasted by students. This research was carried out for 1 year starting from Odd semester 2020 to Even 2020. The method in developing information systems uses the waterfall model with the stages of needs analysis, system design, coding, implementation and the last stage of system maintenance. From the results of the research in the odd semester of 2020, the researchers used a text-based online essay exam model, but many weaknesses were found, one of which was the ease of students in using answers from the internet which were directly entered into the answer column. At the maintenance stage, the researcher updates the system by changing the image-based exam model, so students must write their answers on paper and then upload the answers to the website. The file upload system can overload the server if it is not controlled, one of the techniques used is to compress image files uploaded by students to the system and the maximum size can be compressed up to 78.48% from 1329 Kb to 286 Kb for this type. png data. In addition, to make it easier for lecturers to check answers, use the ezoom.js feature as a means to view answers in the form of images that are useful for zooming in, zooming out, rotating the answer images. The pandemic forces teachers to adjust their teaching methods to the online learning, which includes the implementation of Task-Based Learning. The online implementation would be different from the one in the conventional learning due to the use of learning platform. Therefore, this study was conducted to (1) analyse the implementation of Task-Based Learning through Google Classroom and (2) analyse the problems faced by the teacher in the implementation. This study took one English teacher along with 39 students as the subjects of the study. This study is descriptive qualitative study. The data collected through observation and interviews. The analysis was conducted through three stages, which were data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or interpretation. Then to ensure the validity of the findings of this study, the researcher conducted triangulation in the form of triangulation of method. The results indicated that the teacher implemented Task-Based Learning through Google Classroom by following three cycles, including (1) Pre-Task cycle, (2) Task cycle, and (3) Language Focus cycle. It was implemented by using several features on Google Classroom as well as other Google platforms, which was implemented synchronously and asynchronously. Besides that, the teacher faced three main problems related to the large number of students in a class, time limitation, and difficulty in preparing the learning materials.
