“…It aims to prepare current and future doctors for digital healthcare transformation and integrate digital competencies in the education and training of doctors [ 1 ]. In Canada, the institutionalizationof medical informatics knowledge in undergraduate medical education is driven by a partnership between two medical organizations- the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC), which represents Canada’s 17 faculties of medicine, and Canada Health Infoway, a non-profit organizationfunded by the federal government to make healthcare more digital [ 9 ].
