Implementing regulatory innovations in Europe: the case of impact assessment

Abstract: Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) has become a major tool on the agenda of regulatory reform across Europe. Although the literature on RIA is burgeoning, the comparative analysis of implementation has been neglected.
