Implications of neurological findings for residential education.

Abstract: Pediatric neurological examination revealed positive findings for one‐third of a residential treatment center population. Children with positive neurologicals were found to make less gain in academic achievement, as compared to other children. Significant correlations were also obtained between positive neurologicals and motor development, coordination, and change in Performance IQ.
