Аннотация. В связи с пандемией короновируса Covid-19, которая охватила все мировое население, лексический состав обогатился новыми терминами и выражениями, а также меняется значение уже существующих. Данная статья посвящена употреблению фразовых глаголов в контексте пандемия. Актуальностью представленного исследования является возрастающий интерес ученых к проблемам использования фразовых глаголов в медицинской сфере, а также их малоизученность в контексте пандемия. В связи с этим возникла необходимость изучения, упорядочения и грамотного перевода данных лексических единиц для улучшения профессиональной коммуникации медицинских работников, переводчиков и других специалистов, изучающих медицинский дискурс. В результате обзора периодических англоязычных изданий авторами были выделены основные категории фразовых глаголов в контексте пандемия. Впервые была создана классификация данных глаголов, а также рассмотрены способы их перевода. Типологический анализ английских фразовых глаголов, позволил выделить 5 категорий в рамках семантической классификации, в которой самыми распространенными оказались фразовые глаголы, выражающие движение, а также переход объекта из одного состояния в другое. В рамках синтаксической классификации самыми многочисленными являются непереходные и неразделимые фразовые глаголы. Проведенный анализ также показал, что некоторые фразовые глаголы приобретают новые смысловые значения, попадая в контекст пандемия.Ключевые слова: фразовые глаголы, контекст, пандемия, область применения, медицинская сфера, языковой анализ, перевод, научная речь, типологический анализ, профессиональная лексика.
