Improving Senior High School Students’ Physics Problem-solving Skills Through Investigated Based Multiple Representation (IBMR) Learning Model

Abstract: This research aims to improve senior high school students’ physics problem-solving skills through learning used IBMR learning model. This research was a pre-an experimental study with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The Methods of data collection used validation and test. The materials used to teach were valid category by two experts and can be used to practice physics problem-solving skills. The average post-test score physics problem-solving ability was 73.24 with an N-gain of 0.59 was classified … Show more

“…Problem-solving indicators get the lowest score of all indicators, some students are still unable to solve problems. This is under Setyarini's (2020) research because some students are still confused about entering numbers in the equation. On the indikators of understand the problem and devising a plan student get increased results, because students get guidance from the teacher.…”

“…Fen bilimleri dersi öğretim programında öğrencilerden gözlem yapma, verileri kaydetme, hipotez kurma, verileri kullanma, deney yapma gibi bilimsel süreç becerilerini edinmeleri beklenmektedir Ayrıca ilgili kazanımları araştırma verilerine dayalı olarak tartışmaları ve çözüm önerileri sunmaları istenmektedir (MEB, 2018). Gösterim türlerinin kullanımının öğrencilere sunulan farklı problem durumlarını anlayabilmelerine ve problemi çözmek için çözüm yolları planlamalarına katkı sağladığı tespit edilmiştir (Bezemer & Kress 2008;Setyarini, Supardi, & Sudibyo, 2021) öğretmenler TEOG ve LGS sınavlarıyla yerleşen öğrencileri karşılaştırdıklarında LGS puanıyla yerleşen öğrencilerin muhakeme yeteneklerinin daha yüksek olduğunu belirtmişlerdir (Karakaya, Bulut, & Yılmaz, 2020). Bu durumun öğrencilerin sınavda farklı gösterim türleriyle karşılaşmalarından dolayı bu alana yönelik eskiye oranla daha fazla çalışmalar yürütmelerinden kaynaklanmış olacağı düşünülmektedir.…”
