Incidence of breast pain in breast cancer patients in a multi-ethnic cohort.

Abstract: e24085 Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. Prevalence rates for persistent pain following breast cancer surgery are reported to be up to 60%. Younger age, radiation, more invasive surgery, and acute post-operative pain have been identified as predictors of chronic pain after surgery.
