“…In previous studies, V. parahaemolyticus , DEC and Salmonella spp were also among the most prevalent pathogen in adult infectious diarrhoea in different regions of China and worldwide. 1 2 17 18 27 Although diarrhoea due to V. parahaemolyticus has decreased since 1998, 28 29 V. parahaemolyticus was still the leading cause of adult bacterial infections in this study. However, Shigella spp was also among frequent bacteria in several studies before 2013.…”

“…The proportion of fever in norovirus infections was much lower in comparison with some studies, 26 31 while the proportion in Salmonella spp infections was close to another research. 28 The proportion of abdominal pain was the highest in V. parahaemolyticus (71.97%) while much lower in norovirus (44.55%) and rotavirus (44.96%).…”

“…In summary, V. parahaemolyticus in Jiangsu, China, were highly dispersed and widely distributed in the environment. In light of that V. parahaemolyticus has become one of the major foodborne pathogens in China in recent years (Li Y. et al, 2014 ; Qi et al, 2016 ), the new threat to the public health posed by these “environmental” pandemic strains should not be overlooked. T. The findings of this study provide new insight into the phylogenic relationship between V. parahaemolyticus strains of pandemic serotypes from clinical and environmental sources; the information on the genetic diversity among isolates enriches the MLST database; and our proposed possible O- and K- antigen evolving paths of V. parahaemolyticus may help understand how the serotypes of this dispersed bacterial population evolve.…”

“…Analiza wykonanych badań laboratoryjnych wykazała, że podwyższona liczba leukocytów występowała u 28,57% dzieci; w pierwszej i drugiej grupie wiekowej odsetek ten był bardzo podobny, natomiast wśród najstarszych pacjentów wynosił 8,3%. Wartości te potwierdzają badania literaturowe, w których leukocytoza występuje u 14,8-21,6% chorych [8,11]. Średnia wartość CRP wynosiła 59,59 mg/l i wzrastała proporcjonalnie do wieku.…”
