The article deals with the study of inclusive literature as a means of overcoming the existential crisis, which may occur to people with disabilities and those around them. Inclusive literature is the literature about and for people with disabilities; it highlights disability issues and helps to create a friendly inclusive space. The purpose of our study is to find out the potential of inclusive literature as a means of overcoming the existential crisis of people with disabilities and those who live next to them, to understand the reasons for seeking help from literature, to determine its role in forming a tolerant society. The main body of inclusive literature (relevant fiction and nonfiction literature) is determined, which can serve as a means of overcoming the existential crisis, it is found that writing such works is often sublimation (according to Zapfel). The creators of the analyzed works are people for whom disability is their own experience or the experience of loved ones, a significant part of those works can be considered as a motivational literature. The authors say their works to be revelations. The scientific novelty is that the existential crisis is seen as a crisis experienced by people with disabilities and those who experience disabilities with them, and inclusive literature is offered as a way out of it. This is both the way to create such literature and read inclusive works of various genres. We conclude that inclusive text is not only a necessary component of the modern literary process, but also of modern society, provided that it wants to exist on the basis of empathy, understanding and tolerance. It is especially important in the Ukrainian context, where people with disabilities have stayed away from the society for a long time. What is more, writing the article is the authors' attempt to share own experience in overcoming this crisis.
