Abstract:The research work considers vacuum arc-extinguishing chambers with axial and radial magnetic fields. The object of research is vacuum arc suppression chambers with an axial magnetic field of 10 kV, 20 kA and with a radial magnetic field of 10 kV, 40 kA as well as ways to increase the breaking capacity by changing the configuration for each type of chambers.
