Quality of life is a multidimensional concept involving objective and measurable parameters, such as maintenance of physiological activities and life satisfaction. The Pilot Sport and Citizenship was launched by the Ministry of Citizenship. In the elaboration of an interinstitutional project, associated with sport, it is extremely important that it is foreseen as a member of the team working with the target audience, in addition to the physical educator, the social articulator. For the practice of sports activities, planning is necessary, and this not only considers the different exercises that will be indicated, but a reflection of which exercises should be applied based on the health conditions of the individuals who will practice them. Food is one of the factors responsible for the success of physical activity, so it is essential that activities are established in environments with a varied nutritional profile that can meet all those involved and, in a way, the specificities of the community. The physical educator, a key professional in this type of project, is trained to perform anthropometric measurements and, from the calculation of the BMI, establish the nutritional status of the individual and thus, get to know the community they serve, with regard to this health parameter. and seek, with their activities, the improvement of health, when necessary. A social project that involves a university institution must, by obligation, maintain an educational perspective, and thus, always provide continuing education to the professionals involved, raising awareness of the actions associated with the health professional.
