The TOEFL test is one of the requirements to pass the Thesis exam at several universities in Indonesia. Grammar and Structure Score is the lowest score, and it becomes a problem for the test takers. This study aimed to analyze the factors of Grammar Structure difficulties experienced by students in solving TOEFL questions. This research approach is descriptive qualitative with a sample of 20 students and taken by purposive sampling of 70 students. Interviews and questionnaires were conducted as a data collection tool. The results showed that there were several problems which were factors that influenced the TOEFL participants' written structure and expression lower than listening and reading scores. They cannot analyze the wrong words in part B. A lack of practice on grammar causes problems, and students study independently without guidance and instruction from lecturers or experts. That four main factors cause students to have difficulty solving TOEFL questions: not preparing for the exam, lack of grammar practice, lack of vocabulary mastery, and learning independence. In this case, students and teachers have responsibility for learning achievement, even if these factors come from the TOEFL takers themselves.

Communication technology has grown dramatically in Indonesia. Virtual classroom is an integration of information technology through the use of the internet to connect teachers and students. The aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness the using virtual classroom in TOEFL preparation and to improve students’ score in TOEFL preparation. The population in this research was all of students Nursing Science Study Program Institute of Health Science and Technology of Muhammadiyah Palembang. In order to select the sample, the purposive sampling technique will be implemented, the sample of this research was the seventh semester students of Institute of Health Science and Technology Muhammadiyah Palembang. Nursing science Study program in Academic Year 2020/2021.The data collection of this research is carry out online through Zoom meeting. To verify the hypotheses, the data used paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test was 0.008 which was lower than 0.05.The findings show the positive effects using virtual classroom in TOEFL preparation. In many countries, including Indonesia, TOEFL test is used as entry as well as exit requirement for university education. TOEFL is chosen because it is the most well-known criterion reference test for foreign language learners. This paper aims to find out university students' perception regarding the obligation to take TOEFL as the exit college requirement. To answer the research question, we conducted a survey towards our university graduates. The respondents were 90 graduates of English Department Bina Nusantara University, batch 2016 and 2017. The data were taken from the questioner results regarding their perception towards the TOEFL as exit test requirement. The data then were processed quantitatively using SPSS program. Results revealed that students believed that TOEFL is necessary for entering professional life but not for continuing the study. The results of this study implied a reconsideration of using TOEFL for exit college requirements.
