Abstract

Some time between the ages of 20 and 40 years women consider actualizing the psychosocial developmental mandate of generativity. Raising a family by becoming pregnant is one of the more frequently chosen methods for meeting this task. The women who make this choice consciously approach family building by asking themselves "when" not "if" they will get pregnant.
