Influence Factors Analysis of RC Beams under Falling Weight Impact Based on HJC Model

Abstract: Impact loads may cause serious or even fatal damage to the structure (component), in most existing specifications in China, and there are no special terms that take impact load into consideration. So, the response analysis of the structure (component) under impact loads is very important. In this paper, the sensitivity analysis was conducted for the 22 parameters of the Holmquist–Johnson concrete (HJC) constitutive model of concrete, and the sensitive parameters of the HJC model are identified with A, B, G, Pl… Show more

“…Long et al 34 divided 18 parameters related to material properties in the HJC model into sensitive parameters and nonsensitive parameters. Nonsensitive parameters use existing data, 35 and then the crushing process consistent with the test is obtained by debugging the sensitive parameters.…”

“…The HJC model parameters of gangue are shown in Table 2 [33]. Long et al divided the parameters of the HJC model into sensitive parameters and insensitive parameters [34], according to the parameter sensitivity analysis of HJC model in his study, A, B, G, p l , μ l , and f c are determined as sensitivity parameters, When the sensitivity parameters and insensitivity parameters change with the same amplitude (±20%), the influence of sensitivity parameters on the test results is greater than that of insensitivity parameters. Some parameters in this paper refer to citation [35], and then, according to the falling coal test in section 2.3.1, we continuously adjust the parameters used in the numerical simulation in section 2.3.2, and finally obtain the numerical simulation results consistent with the test.…”
