Influence of cutting parameters on surface topography in high-speed milling of slots in titanium alloy TC4

Abstract: This paper summarizes the experimental investigation of influence of process parameters on surface quality and dimensional accuracy of slots milled in titanium alloy TC4. Samples were milled using a 10 mm HXT coated monolith end mill for HSM milling of superalloys and titanium alloys.
