Influence of Heat Accumulation of the Object on the Operation of the Cooled Ceilings Cooling System

Abstract: The application of cooling systems is a relatively efficient way to ensure the required thermal comfort conditions. One option is the application of cooled ceilings, where the heat load is removed using a ceiling structure with integrated cooling panels. These systems allow for a suitable way remove the heat load, but at the same time, compared to conventional air conditioning systems, they are characterized by a certain time dependence. The presented article describes experimental measurements carried out on … Show more

“…Active PCM-TES systems (underfloor heating, PCM ceiling slabs and other systems) and passive PCM-TES systems (PCM slab walls, PCM shutters, PCM building blocks, air heating systems, underfloor heating, ceiling slabs, etc.) have high potential to reduce the heating load in buildings [4,[6][7][8][9][10].…”

“…Current measuring devices are manufactured according to customer or industry-specific requirements [6,7], the municipal sector or laboratories [8,9,10] or research purposes. It is important to measure the flow rates for immediate adjustment of the optimum parameters of a given process, such as for example in combustion of combustion air and fuel flow [9] or for overflows in cooling systems [11,12] or monitoring and diagnostics [13] of the monitored processes and processes.…”
