“…In particular, biological fluid samples and dairy product samples contain various biomacromolecules. 13,14 Sample pretreatment is an effective method to reduce the influence of the adsorption of macromolecules, which were verified and widely adopted. Nevertheless, the process of this method is time-consuming and complex, which impedes the extension of this method in the field of POCT.…”

“…Surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) is one of the promising spectral analysis techniques for widespread application in the field of point-of-care testing (POCT) based on identification of the characteristic fingerprint information of analyte molecules with the nondestructive detection property. The analyte molecules adsorb on the surface or within 10 nm of metal nanostructures, due to the localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of the metal nanostructures; the Raman intensity of the analyte is enhanced dramatically. However, many macromolecules exist in most actual samples and irreversibly adsorb on the surface of metal nanostructures during SERS detection, which affects the expression of small molecules in the localization of the electromagnetic field of the metal nanostructures. In particular, biological fluid samples and dairy product samples contain various biomacromolecules. , Sample pretreatment is an effective method to reduce the influence of the adsorption of macromolecules, which were verified and widely adopted. Nevertheless, the process of this method is time-consuming and complex, which impedes the extension of this method in the field of POCT.…”
