Over the last two decades, several studies have overlooked at-school belonging and engagement, two dimensions that are associated with several positive outcomes. However, the relative influence that contexts and interventions may have on these components has received much less attention. In this study, school belonging and engagement were examined as a function of the implementation and application of classroom rules. The study took place in two Moroccan schools, and participants were 238 students from 9th grade (101 boys, 137 girls; Mage = 15.1) living in the cities of Casablanca and Témara. They all completed a questionnaire that allowed to measure their belonging and engagement in conjunction with the manner in which rules are implemented and applied. Correlational and structural equation modeling methods were used to analyze the aforementioned relationships. Results showed that implementation of classroom rules had a positive effect on school belonging, which, in turn, had a positive effect on school engagement. These results indicated the need to conduct further empirical research to measure the contribution of classroom management practices on school belonging.

HYGIENIC ASPECTS OF EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY OF SECONDARY SCHOOL CHILDREN AND ITS IMPACT ON HEALTH Introduction. The priorities of society are to save and improve the health of children. The state of adult's population health depends on the state of health of younger generation. The significant role in the formation of children health belongs to living and educational conditions. The educational institution (school) is an important social and determinant factor in the formation of children's mental and physical health. The purpose of modern educational institution is to create a pedagogical and health-preserving school space to ensure optimal functional state of the organism and a sustainable level of children school activity. Nowadays, the modern school constantly increases the amount of information and mental load on schoolchildren. There is a lack of physical activity among pupils, unsatisfactory organization of nutrition, disturbed mode of rest, by day and at night, and other aspects of living conditions. That can lead to deviations in the health of children and adolescents and reduce the functional capacity of the body. Therefore, the problem of preserving the health of children and adolescents in the modern school needs to be studied and provided further recommendations. The purpose of article is to analyze hygiene aspects of educational activity of pupils of general school and the impact of it on their health. Materials and methods. The article presents review of the literature on the state of health of schoolchildren nowadays, the factors with negative influence upon their state of health, the features of the day regimen of pupils in general school and the aspects of the formation of health preserving behavior of them. Therefore, an important role in keeping up the health of schoolchildren is a properly organized day regimen. Rational, age-specific children's day regimen allows pupils to alternate between different activities, provide optimal motor status, full rest, sufficient sleep duration that leads to the normal growth and development of children. The article not only reviews the rational day regimen organization, but the organization of the educational process in the school. Thus, the organization of education process in schools should be carried out in accordance with the basic hygienic requirements. The observance of these requirements prolongs the period of stable working capacity and prevents from fatigue and being exhausted. Background: University students with vocational qualifications encounter more severe cultural, academic, and self-evaluated challenges in the transitional process than their peers with an academic pathway. This study investigated the predictive effect of cultural intelligence (CI), imposter syndrome (IS), and academic resilience (AR) on school belonging (SB) and their interplay mechanism from a positive and negative perspective. Method: We recruited 326 Chinese university students with a vocational route as the research subjects and designed a parallel mediation model to assess the hypothesized construct. Result: The participants had scores above the median in CI, AR, and SB, but they also obtained scores exceeding the median in moderate IS. CI positively and significantly predicted SB both directly and indirectly through AR, while IS negatively and significantly predicted AR. AR both partly mediated the effect of CI on SB and entirely mediated the impact of IS on SB. Conclusion: CI was the most crucial factor impacting SB, followed by AR and IS among Chinese university students with a vocational education and training (VET) pathway. Strategic interventions should be adopted to enhance their abilities to cope with diverse cultures, promote their resilience in facing academic difficulties, boost their self-achievement, and foster their sense of SB.
