Abstract:Observations of short‐lived radon 222 daughter concentrations in surface air have been continuously carried out at a site near the Japan Sea coast for a period of about 1 year, together with measurements of solar and net radiation amounts. It is concluded from the analysis of these data that increases of solar radiation during the daytime and heat emission during the nighttime cause progressive decreases and increases of the radon daughter concentration, respectively.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
