ABSTRAKTelah dilakukan modifikasi zeolit dengan perlakuan hidrotermal. Modifikasi zeolit dilakukan dengan pencucian asam, selanjutnya mencampurkan larutan tetrametilammonium bromida ke dalam zeolit kemudian dipanaskan pada 200°C dalam autoklaf selama 48 jam dengan pengadukan berkala selama 5 menit per jam, dikeringkan pada 120°C selanjutnya dikalsinasi pada suhu 500°C selama 5,5 jam. Karakterisasi hasil dilakukan dengan difraktometer sinar-X. Disimpulkan bahwa adanya perlakuan hidrotermal merubah komposisi mineral zeolit, klinoptilolit berkurang 11,62%, mordenit meningkat 18,37% serta meningkatkan kristalinitas kedua mineral tersebut.
ABSTRACTModification zeolit by hidrotermal treatment has been done. Modification was carried out by acidic washing, after that mixed it with tetrametilammonium bromide solution then heated the mixture at 200°C in autoclave for 48 hours by discontinue stirring for 5 minute every hours, it dried at 120°C then calsinated at 500°C for 5.5 hours. The product was characterized by X-ray difractometer. It was concluded that mineral composition of zeolite changed by hydrothermal treatment, decreasing of klinoptilolit contain was 11.62%, increasing of mordenit contain was 18.37% and increasing its cristallinity.
