Influencing College and Higher Education Choices in Disadvantaged Hispanic High School Students Through a School-Based Health Club

Abstract: A school-based health career club involving active participation of parents and students with support from health care professionals such as academic nursing faculty has the potential to simultaneously raise student interest in health-related careers and health needs of their community.
