“…Privacy concerns are related to an individual's awareness of the site or service provider's practices and handling of their personal data and the risks of sharing information about themselves (Hugl, 2011;Smith et al, 1996). Several studies provide insights into privacy concerns towards the use of OSN (Chin et al, 2012;Dwyer et al, 2007;Krishnamurthy and Wills, 2008;Malhotra et al, 2004;Mohamed and Ahmad, 2012;Stutzman, 2006;Tan et al, 2012), but the findings are inconsistent because privacy is usually examined as a multidimensional variable and does not address the unique characteristics of OSN usage (Krasnova et al, 2009).
