Information scrambling and entanglement in quantum approximate optimization algorithm circuits

Abstract: Variational quantum algorithms, which consist of optimal parameterized quantum circuits, are promising for demonstrating quantum advantages in the noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) era.
