“…It was determined that EO from the flowers of lavender obtained by stem distillation or hydrodistillation, contains more than 300 biologically active chemical compounds and components including linalyl acetate, linalool, lavandulyl acetate, lavandulol, -terpineol, -caryophyllene, cis--ocimene, camphor, and ketones, of which, linalyl acetate and linalool are identified as the major components of the lavender oil.
